Medics have access to automatic and pump action shotguns, as well as the ability to heal and revive teammates. Snipers can wield bolt-action and semi-automatic marksman and sniper rifles. Riflemen can choose between a variety of assault rifles and light machine guns, and have the ability to distribute ammunition to themselves and other players. Each class has its own specific combat role, with Medics reviving fallen and healing injured teammates, Engineers restoring and repairing armor and being able to revive SED's, Riflemen providing additional ammunition, SED's for suppressive fire and eliminating large groups of enemies in a short amount of time, and Snipers for engaging in long-range firefights.Įach class comes has its own unique weapons and equipment, often split into two categories. Players can choose between five different classes: Sniper, Rifleman, Engineer, Medic, or SED. Warface play area at IgroMir 2013 Classes and weapons A tactical shooter spin-off game named Warface: Breakout was released on for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. ![]() Members of the game's development team split from Crytek Kiev in February 2019 to form a new development studio, Blackwood Games, who will handle future development duties for Warface. The console version of the game was relaunched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018 and on the Nintendo Switch in 2020. The Xbox 360 port, which was developed by Crytek UK, was discontinued in February 2015. Warface centers around online firefights in player versus player (PvP) matches, with microtransactions allowing players to purchase weapons, equipment, and cosmetic gear. The game was developed with Crytek's in-house CryEngine 3. The full version of the game was released on Octoas playable in North America and Europe. Also is pretty basic compared to the vests and helmets.Warface is a free-to-play online first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek Kiev, co-produced by Crytek Seoul, and published by My.com. Like gloves, boots will reduce damage and have other properties. Other than that, gloves are pretty basic. Gloves are also a key point in the gear tree because they will reduce damage taken or have other properties. My vest is a multi property vest which allows me to not only obtain more armor points but will decrease my damage taken as well by 10% per hit. If you mix a healing property item and an armor regenerating item you are more likely to stay alive longer if you can win firefights often. In some items for vests you will have a armor regeneration property which is good to have when in PvP because you can just take a knee and stay out of sight while letting your armor regenerate. Like helmets, vests will have its own value as well. As you can also see in the image, it increases my head protection by 60%. ![]() My beret has a healing property, which allows me to regenenrate health over a given period of time so a medic does not have to heal me if they do not want to. My class loadouts are very particular, I make it so that people do not have to worry about giving me anything more than ammunition. Why? Because it will help keep you alive and heal you if you have the right things.Īs seen here, the helmet I use is a beret. Gear loadouts are the far most important part of Warface. Like most games, unrealistically supressors reduce damage. You want to maintain a level amount of DPS in order to effectively use the weapon. You want to pay attention to your weapons overall damage and which attachments you put on the weapon will reduce damage. As seen above I have a scope attached to an AK47, now while the AK47 in Warface defaulty has a decent range on it, it becomes innacurate quickly so I will often switch between scopes accordingly. Scopes will allow you to hit targets at further range more accurately, but will not influence the damage to the target or player. Any other weapon will lose damage the further you try to shoot. ![]() The only class that is surely meant for long range is obviously the sniper class. The further you are trying to shoot the worse your aim and hit registration will be. Range is a key factor you need to take into account for Warface in PvP and PvE. From a PvP standpoint you always want to make sure your weapon is able to be controlled otherwise you will begin to miss shots. Stabalizing a weapon in Warface is your best asset, the more accurate your weapon is the more likely you are to kill them before they kill you. Weapon loadouts are important in Warface because they can offer multiple benefits throughout PvP and PvE. ![]()
